Position Overview:
We are seeking an OD Grinder to join our manufacturing team located in Willoughby, Ohio. As part of the first-shift crew, you will play a key role in operating grinding equipment to produce high-precision components. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate OD grinding machines and ensure the production of parts meets quality standards.

• Perform setup, adjustments, and maintenance of grinding equipment as needed.

• Inspect finished products using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to confirm specifications.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating OD grinders or similar precision machining equipment is preferred but not required; training may be available for candidates with relevant mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings related to part specifications is essential.

• Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.

• Must be reliable with excellent time management skills; punctuality is critical for this role.

• Comfortable working early hours (starting at 5 AM) with availability for overtime when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational training in machining or manufacturing is beneficial.

• Familiarity with basic inspection tools (e.g., micrometers) and general shop practices highly desired.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods during shifts while performing repetitive tasks.
